Hello, I'm Danielle

I'm an advanced undergraduate student at McGill University in Montréal, Canada, where I study anthropology, East Asian studies, cognitive science, and psychology. Prior to this I attended City College of San Francisco and California College of the Arts, both of which are in San Francisco, CA, USA.

Right now I'm taking a year off from McGill to pursue professional goals at NASA and Electronic Arts. Upon graduating, I plan to work in either research or industry for a few years as a technical writer, UX writer, UX designer, or UX researcher (or some combination thereof). After that, I intend to pursue a graduate degree in robotics, human factors, or HCI.

I'm always open to connecting with like-minded people, so please feel free to get in touch for job roles, advice, future academic or research collaborations, etc.

You can usually find me in Montréal and California, but I'm travel and relocation friendly (at least usually). I love to travel and meet/work with people from many different backgrounds, and I have relatively extensive international experience. For example, over the last few years I've worked with clients in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Germany, Poland, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, South Africa, Australia, Kazakhstan, Russia, Israel, France, Denmark, and the USA.

While I am not fluent, I have a limited working knowledge of the Russian, French, Spanish, Japanese, and Mandarin Chinese languages, which allows me to work with clients from these regions rather effectively, especially when it pertains to editing, localization, and strategy for commercial and scientific purposes.
